Summer Associate Program

 

We have completed our hiring for the 2008 Associate Program. We will begin accepting applications for 2009 beginning in August of 2008.

 

Our Summer Associate Program is designed for students who have completed at least two years of law school. We are interested in well-rounded candidates who demonstrate the same qualities and potential as new, full-time associates. Applicants should be capable of performing rigorous and challenging legal analysis, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess the ability to interact with clients and Firm attorneys effectively, and exemplify the potential and motivation to excel in the practice of law.

 

Our summer associates' projects range from research and preparation of legal memoranda to assisting in the drafting of pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and transactional documentation, all under close supervision of our attorneys. We endeavor to provide our summer associates with a diverse work experience and to expose them to a variety of legal subject matter areas. Our summer associates may attend court hearings, pretrials, client conferences, depositions, trials, business meetings and transactional closings.

 

Candidates who are interested in complex and challenging work, and who have exceptional academic credentials, strong analytical and communication skills, and law review or moot court experience, are encouraged to apply.
